Accessibility
The Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) is a Provincial Act with the purpose of developing, implementing, and enforcing accessibility standards in order to achieve a fully accessible Ontario by 2025. Our Multi-Year Plan outlines the Agency’s Statement of Commitment to comply with the AODA.

Procurement, Expense & Perquisites Policies
In 2010, the Ontario Government issued the Broader Public Sector (BPS) Procurement, Expenses and Perquisites Directives. BPS organizations are publicly funded organizations that receive operational funding from the Ontario Government. The Children's Aid Society of Oxford County is a BPS organization.
The purpose of the Procurement Directive is:
- To ensure that publicly funded goods and services, including construction, consulting services and information technology are acquired by BPS organizations through a process that is open, fair, and transparent;
- To outline responsibilities of BPS organizations throughout each stage of the procurement process; and
- To ensure that procurement processes are managed consistently throughout the BPS.

The purpose of the Expense Directive is:
To set out the requirement for the designated BPS organizations to establish expense rules where expenses are reimbursed from public funds.
The Oxford Children's Aid Society, along with Ontario's Children's Aid Societies, implemented the Directives on April 1, 2011.

The purpose of the Perquisites Directive is to set out rules that governs and raises the level of accountability and transparency with respect to the use of perquisites by the agency.
The Oxford Children’s Aid Society has implemented the Perquisites Directives.
