Protecting Children:

The Children's Aid Society of Oxford County, under the Child and Family Services Act, is mandated by law to provide the following services:

• To investigate all reports or evidence of possible abuse or neglect of children
  
• To ensure the safety of children who are in need of protection
  
• To provide care for those children who are unable to remain in their own homes due to child protection concerns
  
• To supervise the children under our care
  
• To provide guidance, counseling and other services to families for protecting children or for the prevention of circumstances requiring the protection of children
