The Children’s Aid Society of Oxford County is recruiting new volunteers from Oxford County to join our Board of Directors

The Children’s Aid Society of Oxford County is a not-for-profit charitable organization established in 1895 and is regulated by the Child and Family Services Act and many other federal, provincial and municipal laws/by-laws, regulations and public policies.

The Society is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors elected from the local community who provide high-level leadership and governance for the Society by providing oversight of the Society’s operations, performance and outcomes.

The Board is seeking members who:

  • Reside in Oxford County and are respected members and leaders of the community;
  • Can demonstrate a genuine commitment to representing communities within Oxford County on behalf of the best interests of families and children;
  • Are committed and vitally interested in the work of the Children’s Aid Society; and,
  • Have the time to regularly attend Board and Committee meetings (approximately 4 hours a month).
